Feed. Experiment. Grow.

A unique recording studio and community space in Detroit.

Designed by musicians and engineers, Feeder Loft supports performance capture, electronic production, jazz ensembles, and hybrid workflows.

Feeder Loft exists to support musicians through space, sound, and process. It is a place for developing ideas, documenting work, and building momentum through recording and collaboration.

The Loft was created to accommodate process and cultivate artistry. Its design is the result of over a decade of engagement with the space, and with Detroit’s vast and rich culture, history, and ongoing musical narrative. We believe performance and production happen together, without separation or hierarchy. The space encourages presence, communication, and collective listening.

Free Demo Recording Sessions — Winter 2026

Feeder Loft is offering free demo recording sessions this winter through its residency program.

These sessions are intended for short demo recordings (1–2 songs), focused on capturing ideas, performances, or works-in-progress rather than full commercial releases.

Sessions are limited and curated. Credit to Feeder Loft is required when sharing demo material.
